The Sikh Española Volunteer Association (SEVA) is an organization of Sikhs who wish to do seva (selfless service) in and around the Española area. We began as a group of Sikhs discussing the idea of hosting an event to serve the local community with the idea to also raise the awareness of Sikhs. Upon meeting as a formal group we decided upon participating in monthly service opportunities as well. We started with a board of 6 members: Deva Singh, Gurujot Singh, Hari Singh, Prabhu Singh, Rion, and Sita Kaur. We are still in the early stages of our organization and are looking forward to a great future of service and awareness.

Dear SinghO & SinghniO

I have gone through the entire blog. It is ULTIMATE and so does is your style of S.E.W.A. You are doing the work which our Indian migrant Sikhs have never thought of but which should have been their first priority. You are Great and I ardaas to the WaheGuru for your & S.E.W.A.'s ChardiKala.

You are doing the actual Sewa in the style started by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Ram Dass Ji. I am sure that it is the Kirpa of my Guru Ram Dass ji upon you.
